SHAMANIC EXTRACTION TRAINING Facilitated by Susan J. McClellan April 4 & 5, 2009 In this two day workshop, shamanic participants will be initiated into the extraction method of shamanic healing, including how to see, sense, and remove localized spiritual illness and pain. You will also learn a classic method of awakening your own spirits and discovering their songs and dances. The Extraction Training workshop is designed exclusively for people who want to bring shamanic healing work to others. This training is not designed for people looking for personal healing. The workshop will include a review of the use of extraction and the nature of different types of spiritual intrusions that shamanic workers extract. Susan McClellan is an experienced group facilitator, teacher and shamanic practitioner. She has extensive training through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and with Sandra Ingerman over the last fifteen years. Susan is a trained teacher in classic shamanic studies and healings as well as trainings in Tibetan and Celtic traditions and Medicine for the Earth as well. Susan has a B.A. in transpersonal psychology and has recently completed her Masters degree in transpersonal studies. Please bring a drum or rattle if you have one. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring warm socks, an eye cover, a feather, cushion and/or blanket for sitting, and a pen and notebook to record your journeys. Bag lunch.
